Easysite's Background
 Launched in 2005, Steve Sivulka
came up with the idea for a family website builder while on vacation in Europe with his wife, Dianne.
"Dianne kept bugging me every night to update our family website. She wanted to keep friends and family up to date with what we were doing in Italy," Steve explains.
"After a few updates, I got sick of it.
I told Dianne, 'I'm going to program our family website so you can update it on your own. I'll make it so easy to use that you won't even need my help.'"
As far as computers go, Dianne knew Microsoft Word, how to email and how to buy things (thanks Amazon).
Well, to Steve's surprise Dianne absolutely loved the new website. She was now able to update their family website on her own and Steve was able to get more sleep.
After they got home from their trip Dianne showed her friends how the new site worked. Once they saw how easy it was, they all wanted their own sites and Easysite was born.
Now with over 100,000 sites built, Easysite is quickly becoming a leading provider of turn-key family websites.

Sold in 2005, StupidVideos had become one of the Internet's most highly trafficked sites with over 200,000 visitors and over 2,000,000 video plays per day.
